Entries are open in the 2024 Beef + Lamb New Zealand Awards giving those who work within the sheep and beef industry the opportunity to shine a light on their local heroes.
The Awards incorporate sheep and beef, including dairy beef, and are aimed at anyone working along the red meat sector value chain. Entry is free.
The award categories are, Emerging Achiever Award, People Development Award, Significant Contribution Award, Rural Champion Award, Science and Research Award, Technology Award, Innovative Farming Award and Market Leader Award.
Entries close 7 July 2024 and the winners will be announced at the Awards Showcase in Hamilton on 10 October 2024.
Beef + Lamb New Zealand’s CEO Sam McIvor says, “During these tough times it is more important than ever that we celebrate our success. We have so much to be proud of and the Awards gives us the chance to showcase our pasture-based, red meat industry to our peers and the wider public.”
