Super Air is a fully owned subsidiary of Ballance Agri-Nutrients and specialises in fixed-wing aerial application of solid fertiliser and lime. We have been a leader in New Zealand ag-aviation since 1988 and continue to combine the latest in aerial application technology with years of experience. We deliver a safe, accurate and reliable service to thousands of farmers throughout the North Island.

Technology

All Super Air planes are fitted with GPS guidance systems. These systems allow an aircraft to receive 10 signals per second from up to 25 satellites, validating its position. Using this technology, Super Air pilots can spread fertiliser to an accuracy of one metre.  This helps farmers comply with environmental regulations, and at the same time obtain the best economic benefit from their investment in fertiliser.

Truck engineering

Super Air’s dedicated truck workshop is located at our base in Hamilton and employs a total of five mechanics, engineers and fitter welders. It’s their job to minimise aircraft downtime by keeping our entire fleet of 39 truck loaders well serviced and maintained.
