Ballance products

Ballance supplies a wide range of high-quality fertiliser products to farmers the length and breadth of New Zealand. Many of our products are manufactured right here in New Zealand, at our plants in Mount Maunganui, Whangarei, Awarua and Kapuni. As a manufacturer, we are able to control the quality of the product we produce, and we work hard to ensure that our fertilisers are not dusty, that the granules are hard and evenly sized, and that the nutrient content is correct.

Ballance also imports high-analysis products, such as DAP, sulphate of ammonia and the Yara range of specialist fertilisers. These products are sourced from companies with which we have long-standing relationships. This offers us - and our customers - security of supply and a guarantee of quality.

The quality of many of our products is independently verified by Fertmark, the quality assurance programme operated by the New Zealand Fertiliser Quality Council. A number of our other products are blended from Fertmark-registered products. For farmers, being able to apply products with the Fertmark tick offers peace of mind, since they know exactly what is going on their pasture or crop.
