Product supply update

A busy autumn for Ballance

May 14, 2014

Product supply update

Due to very high demand for farm nutrients in the North Island Ballance Agri-Nutrients is now experiencing some intermittent product shortages for diammonium phosphate (DAP), potash, and superphosphate products and blends.

Supply over the next few weeks will be managed with an allocation process, and our team is on hand to work with you to determine the best options to get your nutrients on this autumn.

We knew we were going to have a busy autumn and we planned ahead with additional stocks to cover well above our forecasted levels.

Despite this extra inventory a combination of factors such as drought recovery in the Waikato, increased use of products such as DAP to get nitrogen on with autumn maintenance applications, and mild weather conditions has meant that sales have well exceeded our expectations.

New supplies of superphosphate are coming on stream daily as our Mount Maunganui site manufactures this product around the clock to deliver maximum volumes.

We have also brought forward a shipment of DAP, which we expect to arrive mid-June.

If you have any queries about orders you have in the system or placing an order please get in touch with your local Ballance consultant on 0800 222 090.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
